Cannabidiol Reduces the Anxiety Induced by Simulated Public Speaking in Treatment-Naïve Social Phobia Patients
Summary: In this study, patients were given either CBD or a placebo before giving a public speech, and pretreatment with CBD significantly reduced anxiety, cognitive impairment and the patient's level of discomfort with public speaking, and and significantly decreased alertness in their anticipated speech.
